The best thing about leaving first friday is usually hitting the bottom of my flask of whiskey... I hate the trendy bullshit associated with ff, be there, be cool, be seen, be hip. It deautheticates art. It kills the honesty and purity of art in the fullest sense. the only good thing about it was my buddy's band playing at metro sound. they're good. but the scene on broad st sucks and im sick of being told it's good exposure, no it isn't. it's good for being a hipster dousche.
This class is (in my opinion) supposed to show you some things, somethings you know, somethings you don't. Its also supposed to expose you to some things that maybe you'll open up to- maybe you'll like it and maybe you won't. My take on it is that its better to start identifying what you want out of life and what you don't. So what are you thinking about? If it's negative- what is it? If its Positive- what is it? In 10 hours I will no longer be your teacher. I will no longer be obligated to read your blog (of which you have been VERY SLACK in keeping up with). If you care to take me up on any of these questions, I will come back and read them..and possibly ask more questions.
